Senior Desktop Engineer (SOE)

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Desktop Engineer (SOE) in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Linux desktop operating systems, particularly Debian-based distributions such as Ubuntu.
• Knowledge and experience in configuring and supporting a hardened desktop SOE.
• Knowledge and experience in SOE deployment automation and remote device management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve team objectives and deliver intended outcomes, builds capability and responsiveness within the team, adapts to, supports and manages change.
• Building, installing, configuring, testing and maintaining the Lyrebird SOE.
• Deploying the SOE to desktop devices using automation to further standardise infrastructure and environments.
