Lead Data Engineer

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Lead Data Engineer in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Software development (Python, Scala, Java), Automation services (CI/CD platforms, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), Operating systems (Linux), designing and supporting pipelines, IaaS across AWS platforms, VM’s and storage accounts, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, Route 53, ELB, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Demonstrated proficiency with infrastructure automation frameworks, including Ansible, Puppet, and Chef, alongside the design and operation of CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, repeatable, and scalable delivery.
• Hands‑on experience or working familiarity with infrastructure and container technologies such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Elasticsearch (Elastic Stack or Open Distro), Data streaming technologies (Kafka, NiFi, Spark), Installation, optimisation and automation.
