Principal Software Engineer

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Principal Software Engineer in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Manages the provision of consultancy services and/or a team of consultants. In own areas of expertise, provides advice and guidance to consultants and/or the client when delivering consultancy services.
• Plans and leads the identification and assessment of emerging technologies and the evaluation of potential impacts, threats and opportunities.
• Develops organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for methods and tools. Sets direction and leads in the introduction and use of techniques, methodologies and tools, to meet business requirements.
• Sets the release policy for the organisationin the context of both development and production/operations.
